2015 IMC: Espada y Daga Sparring

Here’s a little video out of the 2015 Iron Mountain camp. This is the Lacey brothers out of Gem City Martial Arts engaging in some espada y daga sparring for their first degree black belt test. Sparring occurs after the curriculum portion of the test is done. At this point, the participants have demonstrated knowledge in the three blocks for their belt. For the first black, espada y daga twelve attacks, tactics, and sparring are in there. The Lacey brothers were great fun to watch, and they are very skilled martial artists. It was great working with them. Enjoy their handywork.

Thanks to John Bahr of Durham Tactical Martial Arts for posting this video.
